Start a new tradition this year and celebrate halfway to Christmas (National Leon Day). It’s a fun way to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to the middle of the year.
June 25th marks halfway to Christmas and an unofficial holiday, National Leon Day. ‘Leon’ is ‘noel’ spelled backwards. Some also call the day Halfmas. Whatever you call it, it’s a fun excuse to celebrate Christmas in the summer.
I have recently started the tradition of celebrating halfway to Christmas and as someone that clearly is obsessed with Christmas it’s such a fun tradition.
As I’m building this tradition in my own home I want to share some ways you can also celebrate the day in your home. You can make your celebration as elaborate or as simple as you’d like. And you don’t have to get hung up on celebrating right now June 25th, choose a weekend day near there if that is easier.
