Christmas essential oil blends are the perfect way to have your home smelling great for the holidays in a safe and natural way. There are endless scent combinations to try!
Approximately 35% of candle sales occur during the holiday season. Holiday candles smell amazing and can leave our home feeling more welcoming but they also can be a fire hazard and traditional candles can give off lead and other toxins that are not good to breathe.
A good alternative that is easier on the lungs and safer is using essential oils and a diffuser. Essential oils are natural and safe when used properly.
Another great reason to use a diffuser with essential oils is you get to create your own scents. This is something I really enjoy doing and I keep a big stash of essential oils on hand for just this reason.
My favorite time to diffuse essential oils is the holidays. There is something special about walking into a room filled with a lovely holiday scent.
These are some of my favorite Christmas essential oil blends. They are some great ones to try out. You can also go off of this list to come up with some of your own blends.
Note: The blends containing any tree essential oils I haven’t been able to test, they are blends I’ve seen around but I’m allergic to these essential oils so I can’t test them.

Must-Have Essential Oil Supplies
All of these essential oils are available from Plant Therapy. It’s one of my favorite places to get essential oils because they are of high quality, affordable, and they have a good selection. A bonus is that they have stickers with the names of the oils on the top of the bottles. This makes it easier to store your essential oils.
Amazon is my favorite place to find diffusers. They always have a great selection and the prices are usually really good. I have several diffusers around my home. You can get some really beautiful ones now.
Don’t forget to store your essential oils in a cool and dark place to help preserve them. If you make room sprays or other essential oil products you want to use a blue or amber glass bottle to also protect them from the light which can cause them to deteriorate.
