One of the most stressful things about the holiday season is all of the expenses. While this year it’s expected that Americans will spend less it’s still expected to be almost $1,000. When things are tight that can be a big hit to your budget!

It also adds up so fast. You can think you are being frugal and then you see your credit card statements and find out you’ve spent a lot more than you thought.

That’s why having a Christmas budget is so important. It’s also important to track your spending so you really do stick to that budget.

I also like to use that information to budget for the next year and start saving right away because saving a little bit all year long is so much easier than suddenly needing to come up with the money.

You can easily track your spending on a spreadsheet or in a notebook but it’s even more fun to use a cute Christmas expense tracker!

You’ll find several great trackers and budgeting sheets in my Christmas planner. This really helps keep me very organized. I also like to keep several of the sheets each year to refer to when planning for the next year. No reason to start from scratch every year.

The Christmas planner really makes getting ready for the holidays so much easier! I’ve use it for years and I can’t stress enough how much it’s helped me over the years.
