Make Some Fun Snacks

- White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn
- Christmas Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies

- Frozen Hot Chocolate Frappe
You could even make a themed snack to go along with your movie. That’s always one of my favorite things to do. There is something really fun about eating some cheese pizza while watching Home Alone.

When I was a kid I remember when Disney Channel would do a Christmas in July special and I’d pull out my Christmas stuffed animals and draw a Christmas tree on a chalkboard I had to be my decorations. Just get creative!
Having a Virtual Christmas Movie Night
During these times we need to keep more distance from each other and that has led to a lot of creative ways to be together while we are apart.
Hosting a virtual Christmas movie night is a great way to connect with your loved ones and do something fun together while staying safe.
You can do this in a few ways. You can all plan to watch the same movie at the same time and just talk about it after or you can use a service like Netflix Party to watch together.
You could even set up Zoom or Facetime and just have everyone muted until after but it can feel like you are all together. After the movie, you can unmute and chat.
If you want to take this to the next level have each person pick a snack or snack recipe to share. You’ll each how to make or get your own but it can still be a bit more like everyone bringing something to the party.
If you live close and everyone is healthy and can use recommended food safety guidelines you could actually share. Just make sure you have contactless deliveries of the snacks.
