The dads in our lives work hard and it’s nice to give them gifts to show them we love them but dads often seem so hard to buy for. I’m not sure why but I know it’s a common issue people have, finding great gifts for dads.

I think it’s often even harder when we want to make a DIY gift for dad. It is possible though. I talked to some fellow bloggers and pulled together some pretty unique gift ideas for dads and they are all DIY.

You can also combine some of these products and dad’s favorite treats and make a great gift basket. These personalized types of gifts can be great for those hard to buy for people and to make the gifts extra special.

Many of these DIY gifts can be made ahead of time to help you get a head start on Christmas or other gift-giving holidays. Just be sure you have a good place to store them and you keep track of what you have made.

I like to keep track of gifts both DIY and store-bought in my Christmas planner so I don’t overbuy or forget what I have. It really helps me stay organized.

The last thing you want to do is make a cool gift and then forget it about it when the time rolls around to give it. This happens more than you’d think.
