Moms and mother figures are such important people in our lives. It’s always nice to be able to give back to them when they give us so much.

Homemade gifts are a great way to show you care because you are putting not only money but also your time and energy into a thoughtful gift. Making a homemade gift also means your gift will be unique.

You can also pair a few of these DIY gift ideas with a few store bought items and create a great self-care gift basket for mom. It can help make sure that mom is taking some time for herself occasionally.

I talked to fellow bloggers to get there favorite ideas for DIY gifts for moms. They came up with some amazing items that I’m sure you will love.

Many of these DIY gifts can be made ahead of time but you don’t want to forget that you made them, or maybe you want to make them for Christmas but you are afraid you will forget about the idea.

A great way to stay organized is with a Christmas planner. I like to keep my ideas, a list of gifts I’ve already purchased, and everything else I need to remember in mine.

I feel so much more organized come holiday season when I keep track of things well in my Christmas planner. It really makes all of the difference for how stressed I am around the holidays.
