I’m one of those people that loves ice cream no matter what the weather is. It’s one of my favorite treats and making it holiday-themed only makes me love it more.

I want to have a little Christmas in July day and watch some Christmas movies and thought what would be better than peppermint ice cream. It’s one of my favorite holiday treats but is also great for the summer months.
So whether it’s Christmas in July or actually the holiday season this ice cream is sure to make you happy. It’s also very easy because it’s a no-cook style of ice cream and just needs a few ingredients.
How to Make Peppermint Ice Cream
For this recipe, I used the ice cream maker attachment for a KitchenAid stand mixer. You can use any ice cream maker for this recipe. There are so many great ones out there for reasonable prices.
To make this recipe you will simply mix the ingredients and add them to your ice cream maker. For most ice cream makers you will just need to turn them on once the ingredients are added.
Once there are only about 5 minutes left, add the crushed peppermints and chocolate chips and let it finish. You can eat it right away as more of a soft-serve type ice cream or freeze it for at least 4 hours to have a more normal ice cream consistency.
It’s really that simple! It’s a delicious dessert for the summer or the holiday season. You can also use it to make a wonderful milkshake.
