Can’t wait for December? Celebrate Christmas in July with these fun and easy ideas. It’s a fun break during the summer months to do something a little bit different.
I remember as a kid the Disney channel would have Christmas in July and play Christmas movies and specials. I decorated my room with my Christmas stuffed animals and other Christmas toys. I even pulled out my chalkboard and made a Christmas tree on it. Clearly I’ve always loved Christmas.
As an adult, I still love the little bit of Christmas magic that celebrating Christmas in July can bring. This year more than ever I feel like we need some of that happiness and magic.
Christmas in July is something you can make very simple or go all out. It depends on what sounds like fun for you and your family. Don’t let it stress you out, just do the amount that will be fun for everyone.
Some people like to celebrate for a week and some just pick one day. If your summer vacation has been canceled maybe a week is what you need. If that sounds like too much a simple movie night may be for you, or maybe somewhere in between. If you are as crazy for Christmas as I am you may want to celebrate all month long!
You can pull from the following ideas and make them your own. Mix and match if you want to celebrate for multiple days. The whole reason to celebrate Christmas in July is to have fun, don’t let it become stressful instead just do what will make you happy.
