Hallmark fans don’t have to wait until December or even November to enjoy all they offer. Hallmark Christmas in July is coming this year!

This guide was first created back in 2020 and is now updated each year with current information on the Hallmark Christmas in July event to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the event. This post was last updated on June 29th, 2024.

If you have been here a while you know I’m a bit obsessed with Hallmark. I have been collecting Hallmark Keepsake ornaments my whole life. I have several large tubs full and at least one for every year of my life.

I’ve always loved Christmas and my family and my grandparents always had Hallmark ornaments on their trees so it just has always screamed Christmas to me. 

I look forward to going to pick out ornaments to put on my ornament wish list every year. I even joined my local ornament club. It’s fun to spend time with others who love Christmas and Hallmark as much as I do.

Thankfully Hallmark doesn’t make us wait until December to get into the holiday spirit. They have all kinds of things going on for Christmas in July that will help you get a little taste of Christmas this summer.

What are the dates for Hallmark Christmas in July?

Hallmark is kicking off its 12th Christmas in July celebration early this year with the premiere of Falling Like Snowflakes on Saturday, June 29th.

Like last year fans can vote for which of the Hallmark Christmas movies from years past they want to see. All you have to do is get the Hallmark Movie Checklist App to vote. 

And you don’t have to wait to start watching Hallmark Christmas movies. You can watch over 500 hours of Christmas content on Hallmark Movies Now. If you have never signed up you can get a free trial.

New Hallmark Christmas Movies!

In addition to a month of our Hallmark Channel Christmas movie favorites, there will be two brand-new Hallmark Christmas movies to enjoy on Hallmark Channel and one new movie on Hallmark Movies Now.

Hallmark Channel will also be premiering two movies that were previously only available on Hallmark Movies Now. 

Falling Like Snowflakes (All New)

“A photographer determined to complete her exhibit by capturing a rare photo of a 12-sided snowflake, enlists the help of a childhood friend and they go on a mission they’ll never forget.”

A Very Vermont Christmas

Three Wise Men and a Baby Extended Cut (TV Premiere)

“Three brothers get the surprise of their lives when they are forced to work together to care for a baby over the holidays.”

Rescuing Christmas  (TV Premiere)

Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Premiere Event

If you love Hallmark ornaments as much as I do you have to visit your local Hallmark on July 13-21 to get the first look at this year’s ornaments.

You can start making your wish list by picking up the Dream Book or checking it out online. My store always has a big event, often with fun treats. It’s a lot of fun for any Christmas lover and it’s so nice to see the ornaments in the store. 

I always end up buying a few, especially if they are limited editions, and make my list for the event in October and I always ask for some for Christmas.
