This year is the 10th anniversary of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas and they are releasing a record 40 Christmas movies to celebrate!

December is still months away but we already have some great news from Hallmark and it’s time to get excited for this year’s Countdown to Christmas.

This year is the 10th anniversary of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Channel is going all out to give us the biggest holiday season yet.

What to Expect for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas

If you thought the 38 Hallmark Christmas movies last year was a lot they are upping the game! Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be airing 40 new movies in 2019.

The first of the movies will debut in July with the launch of Hallmark’s Keepsake Christmas. It will be the perfect way to celebrate Christmas in July.

Simply can’t wait for July for the first movie to be released? I’m listening to Christmas music right now so I get it!

Guess what, you don’t have to wait. Hallmark Channel is airing Christmas movies all year long. Every Friday night there is a Christmas movie to help you keep the magic alive all year and celebrate the 10th anniversary of this family tradition.  

How to Watch Hallmark Christmas Movies Without Cable

If you don’t have cable or just don’t have the Hallmark Channel you can still watch these fun Christmas movies.

Hallmark Channel has its own streaming service called Hallmark Movies Now. It’s $5.99 a month so not bad if you just want it for the holiday season. You can also get a free 7-day trial. You can use it on your computer, mobile device, and tv using all the major streaming devices.

Another way to watch is Sling TV. It’s a TV streaming service that is like cable but more affordable and flexible. It’s what we use instead of cable. You can also get a free 7-trial.

Hallmark Christmas movies from past years are also often available on DVD. And some are free if you have an Amazon Prime membership. Get a free Amazon Prime 30-day trial to try it out to see if you like it.
